This is a virtual appointment- however, you will need to have privacy in order to complete this appointment since we will be discussing personal medical history, performing a breast exam, and measuring you for flanges.

The 60-minute or 45-minute in-home follow-up appointment is designed for clients who have already completed an initial lactation consultation or a pumping consultation.
This session provides an opportunity for families to further address breastfeeding challenges, especially when more complex or ongoing lactation support is required. During each follow-up, your baby will be weighed and a weighted feeding assessment will be conducted.
If desired, your lactation consultant can share a detailed care plan with your baby’s pediatrician for cases where collaboration is needed.

A 60-minute virtual appointment that is designed for clients who would like a follow-up appointment. This session is for clients who have already completed an initial consultation or a pumping consultation and would like follow-up care. This type of follow-up appointment is perfect for families who have time constraints/ scheduling difficulties. If at any time during our virtual appointment, I feel as if the virtual appointment would be better suited to be in-person due to complexity or needing to see you or your baby in-home, then I will schedule you to be seen at the soonest available follow-up appointment and apply a discount to the in-home visit. If needed, your lactation care provider will share a detailed care plan with you and your baby’s pediatrician after your appointment.

Relactation or Induced Lactation Consultation

This 90-minute in-home appointment is designed for clients planning to relactate or induce lactation. It provides a strong foundation to support your relactation or induced lactation journey. During the session, a comprehensive review of your lactation and health history will be conducted to tailor your timeline and care plan. While relactation or induced lactation can begin at any time, it is ideally started 5-7 months before the baby’s expected arrival.
Relactation often requires commitment from both the client and the lactation consultant, and may involve collaboration with your doctor if hormonal medications such as estrogen, progesterone, or domperidone are part of the plan. Follow-up appointments are typically necessary to monitor progress and adjust care as needed. Many clients may also need to supplement their breast milk supply through co-nursing, donor milk, previously expressed milk, or other milk substitutes.

During a Return to Work Lactation Planning appointment, we will work collaboratively to create a pumping/ breastfeeding plan that fits perfectly for you and your baby, address challenges that working breastfeeding people experience, and discuss how to set yourself up for lactation success. Your lactation care provider will share a detailed care plan with you after your appointment and will be available for future follow-up if the plan needs adjustment.

A 75-minute in-home or virtual appointment that is designed for clients who are planning on weaning from breastfeeding. This session provides an opportunity to address the challenges of weaning from breastfeeding and/or pumping. During a Weaing Lactation Planning appointment, we will work collaboratively to create a plan that is tailored perfectly to fit you and your baby’s timeline. We will also address challenges that often arise during the weaning process. Weaning can be challenging, no matter when you decide to start. Many breastfeeding clients ask when the “right time” to wean from breastfeeding is. I believe that it is time to wean if you and your baby are both ready to begin gradual cessation from breastfeeding, or if there is a complication that has led you to require early weaning. Your lactation care provider will share a detailed care plan with you after your appointment and will be available for future follow-up if the plan needs adjustment.
